Job Description

Marketing Manager - Morristown NJ/Hybrid

 

Business Unit/Department:   Marketing/Corporate Communications/Business Development     

Primary Location:                  Morristown, NJ - hybrid capable but several days in Morristown office required.

Information about the Role, Line of Business and Team:

Under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing, this role helps create and deliver impactful and creative marketing solutions to promote the C&F’s broad range of specialty insurance products.

 

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with others on the External Marketing team and the broader C&F Marketing Communications team to ensure leverage of our Connected Marketing approach
  • Proactively support external marketing and communication strategies focused on driving growth, awareness and engagement
  • Work closely with the Division Marketing Partners to develop and execute elements of strategic and integrated marketing campaigns and materials, with content channels including brochures, webpages, emails, social posts, advertising, thought leadership, tradeshows/events, infographics and videos
  • Participate in regular outreach sessions with P&C and A&H business leadership to understand key strategies and proactively contribute to C&F marketing outreach, market awareness and visibility
  • Copy edit/proof, improve, and maintain product- and value proposition-specific messaging and content to help achieve our business goals and to maintain consistent voice and representation across channels
  • Use market, client, and industry insights to inform content development
  • Track and measure effectiveness of marketing efforts in driving sales and recommend adjustments to strategies to maximize ROI
  • Help facilitate business, legal and brand approval for content
  • Support speaking/presentation/storytelling opportunities across a team of Subject Matter Experts
  • Manage a master calendar of external marketing activities
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What YOU will bring to C&F:

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt writing to a variety of channels including social, web, email and print collateral
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong ability to problem-solve, with the ability to work effectively and efficiently with a team as well as independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, PR, Journalism, Marketing, Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years’ experience in marketing & communications
  • Insurance industry knowledge (P&C and/or A&H) strongly desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), experience with social media platforms, SEO measurement and content development, experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Crum & Forster is committed to ensuring a workplace free from discriminatory pay disparities and complying with applicable pay equity laws.  Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $75,200 to a maximum of $125,300. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
