The Senior Business Analyst participates on a small team of 2-5 business analysts contributing to the planning, design, development, and launching of efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.
This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Senior Business Analyst role requires an advanced understanding of insurance workflows and systems. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, have a service mentality, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
The Senior Business Analyst is a member of the Surplus & Specialty Lines (SSL) Digital Services team, supporting the Underwriting, Claims and Billing & Collections business units. SSL underwrites both admitted and non-admitted business for General Liability, Auto, and Excess/Umbrella lines of business across multiple industry verticals, including Contracting, Transportation, Energy, Security, and Environmental.

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $64,700.00 to a maximum of $121,600.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
