Job Description

 

We are looking for a self-starting individual with a strong background in transportation safety, DOT regulations, and experience managing all components of a commercial fleet – whether it be light vehicles or oversize/overweight specialized equipment – with an emphasis on data management through telematics, public data, and loss trends.

 

 

What you will do for C&F:

 

  • Manage and analyze all data gathered by Transportation Risk Engineering, including generation of reports
  • Utilize former fleet management experience to monitor, extract, and compile data points needing investigation by Transportation Risk Engineering
  • Manage vendor relationships, including the oversight of telematics data sharing
  • Assign Transportation Risk Engineers account visits and surveys – including determining the appropriate media for the interaction (phone, video call, or in-person)
  • Manage the reporting of telematics datasets to insureds
  • Proactively engage with clients to promote C&F’s Risk Engineering capabilities
  • Ample knowledge of telematics systems and ability to assist clients with implementation, monitoring and reporting. 
  • Coordination and lead phone and on-site survey’s for clients
  • Work closely with underwriting and Risk Engineers to improve the visibility and effectiveness of the Risk Engineering program.  
  • Stay current with industry trends/news and communicate the information with key stakeholders.
  • Develop strong working relationships with all levels of colleagues, including senior leadership.

 

What you will bring to C&F:

 

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of transportation industry experience required.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, time management and organizational capabilities with a strong customer service focus while building solid relationships.
  • Ability to multitask and function in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong work ethic, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Will abide by departmental policies and procedures, including authority levels, to comply with C&F's risk management controls.

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $58,700.00 to a maximum of $110,200.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
