Job Description

Summary:

As such, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing Talent & Organization Development team as Director, Talent Development! This new role will report to the SVP, Talent & Organization Development and will be responsible for managing multiple talent projects and programs. You will be responsible for optimizing existing programs while also designing, developing, and delivering additional solutions that will expand our portfolio in alignment with business objectives. You will have the opportunity to craft impactful enterprise-wide solutions that further enhance Crum & Forster’s internal and external brand as a “Great Place to Work” and “Great Place to do Business With”.

Primary Location: Hybrid - Morristown, NJ headquarters

What you will do:

  • Deriving energy from your passion to grow future leaders, you will lead the design, development, and implementation a new leadership development curriculum for emerging leaders.
  • Using your project management and stakeholder engagement skills, you will play a key role in managing our Brand Ambassador Program. You’ll leverage learning & development expertise to create exceptional learning experiences and will partner with key SMEs to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
  • Leveraging your ability to connect talent to meaningful resources, you will create a job shadowing program with specific focus on helping emerging talent explore different career paths within C&F.
  • With your flexible mindset and interest in a variety of topics, you’ll also be assigned additional special projects. Examples may include building additional programming for key talent pool employees and facilitating ad hoc mid & senior-level learning engagements that use a wide variety of learning modalities to create an enriching and optimal learning and networking experience.

What YOU will bring to C&F:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Established experience in Human Resources, Talent Development, Organization Development, or related field
  • Exceptional program and project management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results
  • Learning agility and flexibility to shift focus based on current priorities
  • Ability to operate within a highly decentralized and diversified business structure
  • Certifications and/or credentials from HR/Talent Development professional associations a plus, but not required
  • Experience in the insurance industry a plus, but not required

Crum & Forster is committed to ensuring a workplace free from discriminatory pay disparities and complying with applicable pay equity laws.  Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $116,600 to a maximum of $171,100. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
