Information about the Role and Team:
The HR Generalist provides high-quality recruitment and generalist support to the business and employees as part of the HR Team within the Accident & Health (A&H) Division at Crum & Forster (C&F). This position reports to the Director, HR, with a dotted line to our Director, HR for TII.
This role is accountable for a combination of full cycle hourly recruiting and generalist responsibilities. You will work closely with the A&H HR Team and Corporate Talent Acquisition to deliver value-added service in support of business and division goals with a focus on HR Operations. Your contributions will help drive a wide variety of employee initiatives and programs in support of C&F’s People and Culture initiatives.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated results in high volume hourly recruiting and retention as well as a desire to develop their HR knowledge and experience, including in areas of employee engagement and support. The HR Generalist is a key contributor committed to ensuring a positive employee experience in a fast-evolving organization. The HR Generalist ensures that A&H hires great people who contribute to our healthy culture and want to grow their careers with us.
This role is located in our Glastonbury, CT office on a hybrid schedule. Typically, this role is in the office 2-3 times per week with members of the A&H HR Team.

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $53,500 to a maximum of $78,400. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
