Actuary – Executive Risk – (Morristown, Jersey City, or Remote)
The Commercial Lines & Executive Risk Division is seeking an innovative and solutions-oriented actuary to join our team in support of the Executive Lines profit center. The ideal candidate will bring a strong actuarial background in executive lines pricing, knowledge of industry and market dynamics, and a passion for advancing pricing sophistication. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who can understand evolving business needs and provide actionable insights that empower leadership to focus on broader strategic priorities.
In this role, you will play a key part in pricing activities for Cyber, Tech E&O, Professional Liability, and Management Liability lines of business, collaborating closely with the leadership teams for each. Your primary responsibilities will include enhancing pricing sophistication, monitoring portfolio performance, and developing strategies to drive profitable growth.
This position reports to the Actuarial AVP for the division and provides an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment with the benefits of a smaller organization backed by the security, stability, and opportunity of a large conglomerate, Fairfax - one of the largest P&C insurers in the United States.

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $95,600.00 to a maximum of $179,600.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
