The Product Owner serves as Digital Services’ liaison to stakeholders for a specific product, ensuring that stakeholder needs are accurately captured, prioritized, and delivered by that product. This role is a specialized path similar to Senior Business Analysts, combining strategic planning, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement. The Product Owner may lead a small team of business analysts, depending on the need, and will collaborate closely with IT, development, and QA teams to deliver business value through their product.
The Product Owner role requires an advanced understanding of their product and how it fits into the Surplus & Specialty ecosystem as well as the larger Crum & Forster organization. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, have a service mentality, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
The Product Owner is a member of the Surplus & Specialty Lines (SSL) Digital Services team, supporting the Underwriting, Claims and Billing & Collections business units. SSL underwrites both admitted and non-admitted business for General Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers Compensation, Property, Inland Marine, and Excess/Umbrella lines of business across multiple industry verticals, including but not limited to Contracting, Transportation, Energy, Security, and Environmental.

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $87,000 to a maximum of $127,600. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
