Job Description

Talent Development Operations Manager

Summary:

As such, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing Talent & Organization Development team as Talent Development Operations Manager! This new role will support the design, implementation, and optimization of learning (L&D) and talent development systems and processes, with a focus on Workday Learning, automation, and process improvement. They will leverage AI and automation to drive continuous improvement in learning delivery. The incumbent will serve as a key contributor to execute and evolve our Talent strategy as the team continues to grow and further enhance Crum & Forster’s internal and external brand as a “Great Place to Work” and “Great Place to do Business With”.

Primary Location: Hybrid - Morristown, NJ, Remote – NY Metro, Remote – Atlanta, GA, Remote, Chicago, IL, Remote-US

What you will do:

  • Using your experience with AI, automation, and process improvement, you will identify and work with expert partners to implement AI tools and automation solutions to streamline learning and talent processes (e.g., chatbots, automated workflows, analytics).
  • Leveraging your project management skills, you will Support L&D and talent operations projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder communication, and effective change management. Lead portions of the project to transition from Cornerstone LMS to Workday Learning Powered by Sana.
  • As someone with a knack for process improvement, you will analyze current processes, recommend enhancements, and document business processes leveraging best practices to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • With your ability to tell impactful stories with data, you will develop and maintain dashboards and reports that tell the impact story of our talent development efforts and provide meaningful insights to leverage learning activity, compliance, and talent metrics.
  • With your flexible mindset and interest in a variety of topics, you’ll also be assigned additional special projects. Examples may include curating learning playlists or supporting other Talent Development team members with configuration and optimization of Workday Talent modules.

What YOU will bring to C&F:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5+ years of L&D and/or Talent Management experience
  • Experience with Workday Learning or similar LMS required
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Experience with AI, automation, and process improvement
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a highly agile environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus, but not required
  • Workday Learning experience and/or Sana experience a plus, but not required

Crum & Forster is committed to ensuring a workplace free from discriminatory pay disparities and complying with applicable pay equity laws.  Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $67,900  to a maximum of $127,600. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
